Creativity and Connection: Art-based therapy Group II

NEW Six biweekly sessions starting Friday, January 25 (4-6pm)
Registration is now closed for art therapy groups for these dates. Watch for new dates, times and themes to be posted soon.

This is a safe therapeutic group environment for adults who have mental health issues and would be interested in the opportunity to express themselves through art-making and imagery. Participants in this group are welcome to share as much as they are comfortable with about their art processes, imagery and reflections. Artistic experience and skills are not necessary to participate.

Major depression, general anxiety and other mental health issues can cause feelings of being misunderstood and isolated. Internalized stigma, loss, and grief associated with these issues can wreak havoc on self-confidence. Through art-making within a therapeutic group setting, you and others in the group will explore themes of acceptance, self-compassion, mindfulness, and resilience.

Space is limited, please register soon to avoid disappointment.
Cost: $126 per person, includes all art supplies and gst. Registration deposit: $50, balance due by start date. Payments can be made through PayPal.
